Sayon Diakitá (b. 1983, Sikasso) received his D.E.F. (Diplôme d’Etude Fondamentale, elementary school diploma) in 1999 and in 2008 a DIFM (Diploma for Teachers Training). He started working as a teacher.  At the same time he joined the team Walaha Group as a technician. Therefore he followed several courses in the field of online radio, photography and graphic design.
In 2010, he participated in a training workshop on film-making (framing, editing and directing) hosted by Fousseyni Diakité. In 2013 Sayon enrolled at the Summer University of Groupe Walaha, dedicated to the Multimedia Communications and Applied Arts. In September of the same year, he was selected for the workshop creating video art  at Centre Soleil d’Afrique. He is now travelling and visiting several cities and countries for media coverage of cultural events for the youth, commisioned by Groupe Walaha.
